CHERRY HILLS COUNTRY CLUB

DENVER, CO

ECI rerouted Little Dry Creek through holes 13-17 of Cherry Hills Country Club. We removed thousands of feet of grouted boulders from the banks of the creek, banked the slopes back to create a more natural, healthy stream, added rock to the bed and banks of the creek to help with flow, and removed and replaced two brick cart bridges.

One interesting feature of the project was working alongside designer Eric Iverson to finalize the creek design and slopes for overall course appeal. Additionally, working on this project through the winter season presented its own challenges – we had to divert the creek flows using about 2,200 LF of pipe and pumps. We also used helical piers for both of the new bridges that were installed.
