Pay Range: $20.00-$27.75 per hour

• Capable of performing strenuous physical work in various weather conditions.

Position Description:
General laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations. These tasks will be assigned by Equipment Operator, Foreman, or Superintendent. You will work as part of a team or independently as projects require. Communication with
team members and other workers is necessary. The ability and willingness to follow safety protocols and perform work safely.

Responsibilities:
• Perform manual tasks such as, but not limited to, digging, shoveling, sweeping, lifting, carrying, and cleaning.
• Check all fluid levels and grease equipment to assure that the equipment is at the required levels prior to operation.
• Assist Foreman as needed.
• Assist Equipment Operator as needed.
• Layout and pickup materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain, repair, install erosion control devices.

Laborer Description

Skills:
• Basic labor skills include, but are not limited to, understanding subgrade compaction, installation & maintenance of erosion control devices, installation of drainage, and temporary fencing.
• Operation of hand power tools.
• Operation of compaction equipment, jumping jack, remote compactors.
• Ability to read tape measure.
• Safely assist Equipment Operator in locating underground utilities.
• Willing to ask for clarification if something is unclear.

Communication:
• Ability to work well with diverse personalities.
• Employs effective listening skills.
• Ability to verbally communicate effectively.
