Pay Range: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

• Ability to get oneself to assigned job site.
• Capable of performing strenuous physical work in various weather conditions.

Position Description: The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, experienced Equipment Operator. The Equipment Operator position requires previous experience in construction that includes multifaceted civil work consisting of urban drainage, utility, roadway, bridge, and large acreage park development. Competent reading of grade stakes and plans. Ability to run equipment in an efficient and non-abusive manner. Ability
and willingness to assist others with non-operator tasks needed to complete the project. Good rough grading and compaction techniques required. Competent fine grading skills in tight areas adjacent to finished scopes. Equipment proficiencies at a minimum should include:

• Grading Tractor
• Skid Loader
• Excavator
• Front End Loader
• Motor Grader
• Scrapper

Job Posting - Equipment Operator

Essential Functions:
• Subcontractor coordination/accountability.
• Laborer direction.
• Assist in maintaining safety on the project by verifying that each employee knows the safety practices required.
• Project Tracking including materials deliveries, equipment checklists and maintenance logs.
• Quality control tracking (materials testing, subgrade testing, etc.).
• Meet established production rates.

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, a CDL is a plus.
• The ability to read and understand blueprints.
• General knowledge of proper equipment operation.
• General equipment mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
