SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY PARK

FORT COLLINS, CO

Twin Silos… a park like no other

Given the large increase of housing growth, the southeast area neighborhoods in Fort Collins have long needed a regional park. Southeast Community Park is a new, 54 acre park featuring a “Homestead” theme with a community garden and orchard. The new playground will include twin, relocated steel silos, a shelter designed to look like a farmhouse and a restroom. The project includes new electrical and lighting, landscaping and irrigation, dog park, walks, parking, baseball fields and restroom, pickleball courts, multi-purpose fields and a unique vertical grow wall. Other features include an upgraded BMX riding area and improvements to McClelland’s Creek creating a water play area.
