New Multipurpose Sports & Regional Park

ECI constructed Phase 3 (the largest phase) of the Parkfield Lake Park expansion, which featured 30 acres of new park facilities, trails, natural areas and more. For the $8.1M project, ECI constructed 12 acres of lighted sports fields for football, soccer and baseball; and four basketball and two tennis courts. Additional park amenities include a skate plaza, concrete bleachers for the synthetic turf football field, sodded sports practice areas, and a substantial fenced dog park. Kids fill the busy playground that features a climbing wall.  A delightful splash park, shaded picnic shelters and plaza also are popular additions. ECI also installed several multi-functional gathering spaces, including an overlook of Parkfield Lake and a natural amphitheater with a sheltered stage at the lake’s edge. ECI also built numerous concrete and soft surface walkways, planted 500+ trees, created 10 acres of new native areas, restroom, and asphalt parking for 300.

At the Grand Opening celebration, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said “Thank you ECI for a job well done, on time, and within budget”.
